Adopt A Road
The program consists of adopting Public Lands roads/trails open to motorized vehicles on the San Juan NF/BLM. Job descriptions include picking up trash on adopted roads/trails, check inlet/outlet side of culverts for proper drainage, cleaning/removing fire pits, helping district leaders in projects that are applicable, and reporting road and sign conditions.
This is a great way to get good exercise and to protect and preserve our Public Lands.
Sign up and be a part of our projects...we would appreciate your help.
Adopt a Trail
Opportunities to adopt a section of your favorite trail are available. Light trail maintenance, cleaning and monitoring are the expectations for the adopted section.
Trails already adopted by SJMA volunteers include Vallecito Creek Trail and Ice Lakes Trail.
