Celia
Boyd is the Visitor Information Specialist and manages the
interpretive bookstore in the Dolores Public Lands Office. She started with
SJMA in May 2003 as a seasonal employee and moved into a full time position in
October of 2003.
Celia was born and raised in the Mancos area. She, along with her husband and two children, raise appaloosas and quarter horses which they compete with in various equine activities. Dutch oven cooking gives her time to be in the great outdoors. Along with her son, Cole, she performs Dutch oven cooking at various events including the SJMA Volunteer picnic, Four Corners Ag Expo, and SJNF Centennial Demonstrations. Peach Cobblers and sour dough biscuits are her specialty!
