Celia Boyd manages the interpretive bookstore in the Dolores Public Lands Office.  She started with SJMA in May 2003.  

 

Celia was born and raised in the Mancos area. She, along with her husband, two children, and one granddaughter, raise appaloosas and quarter horses which they compete on in mounted shooting competitions.  Dutch oven cooking gives her time to be in the great outdoors. Along with her son, Cole, she has performed Dutch oven cooking at various events including the SJMA Volunteer picnic, Montezuma County Fair, Four Corners Ag Expo and SJNF Centennial Demonstrations. Peach Cobblers and sour dough biscuits are her specialty!
